2 Weeks.

It seems the end of summer is nearer than I thought... there are now 2 weeks and a few days till everyone goes back to school... and I don't...
The exam results are going to arrive next Thursday (scream!) So my next post will probably be after then...
There is a lot of filming happening over the next two weeks... then the two weeks after that I'll be editing and composing and fine tuning the film... and hopefully it'll all be finished for the release date of September 1st. A total of 5 months in the making from start to finish. wow! :)

This was the sunset after filming one of the beach scenes last week... it was absolutley beautiful!

Hey Soul Sister

Had a fantasitc photoshoot a few days ago with Maddie and Jasmine. We went to the field outside saltcoats castle. The colours and lighting there were absolutely stunning, it's defiantly a place I would return to for photographs :)
The photo above is probably my favorite of the day though the ones below are too!

It's been a while...

Hello, it appears it's been rather a long while since my last blog post. This has been mainly due to the fact it's summer at last and I've been busy working on my film "Pneumonia"

This is the current camera setup for the production Pneumonia. Lens pictured is the 35-350mm L which hasn't been used as of yet, most of the filming has been done on the sigma 18-55 with some closeups on the canon 50mm 1.8.


Other than that, I went to see toy story 3 yesterday and I must say it is really a fantastic film, I highly recommend it to anyone!
Been taking a few photos as well... also went to T in the Park and saw MUSE live... one of the best moments of my life was when I got up on my friend's shoulders during "time is running out".
But here are a few of my new(ish) photographs :)


This one is of Liz... I can't remember exactly what we were doing at the time... no wait, we were choreographing one of the action scenes for the film.



This is one I shot with Maddie on a rather odd day we met up and decided that today would be "the best day of our lives" though in the end we shot photos from strange angles with pineapples... whatever floats your boat eh? xD



Another one from the same day with Maddie... we went a little bit mad and ran a bath :)

First of all can I just say how depressed I was to see this sight in HMV today. Teenage girls of Edinburgh you FAIL

EPIC underwear shopping trip

yes, the title says it all... it was truly epic.
sarah and I perused the lingerie section of M&S and came across some quite splendid spotty knickers... :) sarah then proceeded to squish the padded bras and was quite content with the experience. then after a fantabulous luncheon at le café rouge! we parted ways.
i then returned home to find my ninja outfit had arrived and spent the next few hours prancing around in a black karate costume, balaclava and a few plastic swords. afternoon well spent.
saturday is going to be AWESOME.

Hmm...

So I'm lying in my lovely warm bed. It is 6:04am and I've had yet another night of no sleep! Oh well... Had a nice browse through youtube though which was fun :)
A few nights ago I watched Inglorious Bastards, which is an AMAZING film. I highly recommend it! But yeah, last few nights I've not slept mainly because I haven't been tired, whereas tonight I just couldn't no matter how hard I tried. Probably a few reasons for this... 1. Stress (exams are like.... SOON!) 2. there has been one guy on my mind now for the past few weeks and I can't seem to shake him off. 3. I went to the pub with matt and andy... but I'm sure that half pint of cider would've worn off by now... anyway... I'm talking to Hannah (who is in America... lucky lucky thing :P) and where she is it's probably a reasonable hour... like 10pm? Ah well... I've organised a picnic today just because the weather has been glorious all week and it is actually starting to feel like spring!

My Green Ukulele

My new ukulele arrived a few days ago... first thing i did was to take it our the box and start playing MUSE on it...
:D
But after a few hours I sat down and recorded one of my favorite muse songs: Time Is Running Out.

It worked quite well, (I ended up with 3 layers, rhythm, lead and bass (although bass wasn't really bassy at all!)

Entering The World Of Blogging....

Okay, first of all let me express my disappointment of the lack of "HELVETICA" in the font options... :(

Hello, I am brand new to this world of blogging so expect me to be a little rusty.
I'm guessing this is where I'm supposed to write my innermost thoughts so the world can see them and go "oooohhh" and "ahhhhh" toward them.

So we'll see how it goes, not that much excitment occurs in my life but... you never know!

I think now I'll play around with a few things to see what this blog is capable of...
HMM! wow... okay.... :D
